Papon is an Indian singer. He sings almost every type of music like folk music, ghazals, electronica, etc.
In 2007, he founded a folk-fusion band named as 'Papon and The East India Company.' The band includes a Drummer, a Bassist, a World Percussionist, a Guitarist, and a Keyboardist.
His band also gave live performance at various International festivals like 'du World Music Festival' in Dubai, 'Java Jazz Festival' in Jakarta, 'Paleo Music Fest' in Switzerland, 'Oslo World Music Festival' in Norway, 'Dhaka International Folk Fest' in Bangladesh, etc.
